Award Management

  • The Senior Research Officer (SRO) of the University is the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. The President of the University has delegated to the SRO the authority to sign grant contracts, awards, agreements, and other documents incidental to research contracts and grants. Only the SRO or the President may sign these documents.
  • The Principal Investigator/Project Director (PI/PD) is identified in the grant/contract proposal submission and is the individual who has final responsibility for seeing that the project is carried out as proposed.
